The engines used in Titan Forklifts® Gas/LPG forklifts are defined as Non-Road Large Spark-Ignited Engines, producing more than 19kW of power. Their emissions are regulated by various Canadian and US governing bodies.
Diesel Forklifts
The engines used in Titan Forklifts® Diesel forklifts are defined as Non-Road Compression-Ignition Engines producing between 19kW and 37 kW of power. Their emissions are regulated by various Canadian and US governing bodies.
Speciality Forklifts
The engines used in Titan Forklifts® Specialty Diesel forklifts are defined as Non-Road Compression-Ignition Engines developing between 19kW and 37 kW of power. Their emissions are regulated by various Canadian and US governing bodies.

Titan Forklift® meets the Off-Road Compression-Ignition engine emission regulations for Environment Canada, which is very similar to U.S. EPA Tier 4. This includes emissions levels, smoke percentage, a useful life of 7 years / 5,000 hours and an emission warranty period of 5 years / 3,000 hours.

U.S EPA
Titan Forklifts® meets the Non-Road Large Spark-Ignition engine emissions regulations for U.S. EPA. This includes emissions levels, a useful life of 7 years / 5,000 hours and an emission warranty period of 3 years / 2,500 hours.

Titan Forklifts® meets the Off-Road Large Spark-Ignition engine emission regulations for California ARB. This includes emissions levels, a useful life of 7 years / 5,000 hours and an emission warranty period of 3 years / 2,500 hours.

Environment Canada
Large Spark-Ignited engines that develop more than 19kW of power are not currently regulated in Canada. However, there are plans to amend the regulations in the future.
